Occupying the northern part of the island, the Malaysian state of Sabah protects vast lowland and montane rainforests and harbors extraordinary wildlife, including more than 40 endemic bird species. From the slopes of Mount Kinabalu to lush forests and wildlife-rich rivers, Sabah is a premier destination for birders and nature enthusiasts, offering spectacular species such as brilliantly colored pittas and broadbills, Great Argus, Bornean Bristlehead, Whitehead’s Trogon, Whitehead’s Broadbill, and Storm’s Stork, along with iconic primates like Proboscis Monkeys and Orangutans. Through vivid photography and engaging stories, this presentation brings to life the remarkable biodiversity of one of the world’s great wildlife destinations.
