Field Trip – Farm River Trolley Trail with the Friends of the Farm River and Estuary, East Haven – DeWitt Allen
Sunday, October 25, 2026 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am
The Friends of the Farm River and Estuary invite the New Haven Bird Club to share a walk along the tracks of the Shoreline Trolley Museum in East Haven through several productive habitats. The timing may be good for us to find a mix of resident and migrating salt marsh birds, raptors, and woodland species. Plus a ride on an antique trolley car!
This walk is part of our new Youth Education initiative, and members of our education group will be there to work with young birders. Both adult and youth binoculars will be available for borrowing by beginning birders.
Meet in the rear parking lot of the Shore Line Trolley Museum, 17 River Str, East Haven.
