Field Trip – Country Club of Woodbridge Property, Woodbridge – Chris Loscalzo

Join Chris Loscalzo for a walk on this former golf course (now a valued open space as the fairways have transformed into weedy and brushy fields) as he looks for sparrows and other late fall migrants. The walk will be preceded on Friday, October 16th by a presentation on sparrow identification via Zoom when Chris will review the ID of all 27 species of sparrow that have been seen in CT; see notice under Indoor Meetings.

Advance registration will be requested, but additional walks will be arranged if interest in the walk exceeds available spaces. Watch for the NHBC email announcement for details.

Meet at the gravel parking lot on Johnson Road, immediately southeast of the intersection of Johnson Road and Ansonia Road in Woodbridge.
