SPECIAL EVENT (Virtual Only): Identification of Connecticut’s Sparrows – Chris Loscalzo

Chris Loscalzo will give a zoom presentation on the identification of the 27 species of sparrows known to have occurred in Connecticut as preparation for his walks to be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18, at the old Country Club of Woodbridge; see Walks schedule. The talk will last 45 to 50 minutes and will focus on the important identification points for all of our sparrow species. Join in online and learn about these underappreciated but wonderful birds. Then go for the walk on Saturday or Sunday and put your heightened skills to use!

Note that you do not have to be signed up for either walk to join in on the Zoom session and improve your identification skills!

Watch for the Zoom link in your email several days prior to the event.
