14 enthusiastic and supportive birders joined us for a bird walk in Hamden’s Brooksvale Park. The weather was beautiful on this last day of spring and 43 species were noted. Although several species were only heard, many participants did get good looks at a few of our local breeding birds, including nesting Eastern Kingbird, Rose-breasted Grossbeaks, Eastern Bluebirds and a Broad-winged hawk.
