Eighteen individuals, including myself, braved the summer-like warm weather to find birds. Working overtime we netted 49 species including Pectoral Sandpiper, Willet, Black-bellied Plover, Least Sandpiper, Dunlin, Greater Yellowlegs, American Kestrel, Merlin, a large flock of Golden-crowned Kinglets, Marsh Wren, White-crowned, Savannah, and Swamp Sparrows, Common Yellowthroat and Yellow-rumped Warblers.
