BIG SIT 2026!
All New Haven Bird Club members are encourage to participate in The Big Sit!®, which will be held this weekend, October 10th and 11th. This is a worldwide event where birders compete to see how many birds they can locate while based in one 17 ft diameter circle.
Consider creating your own circle, or find one to join! And this year again, the first day of the event falls on the fall World Migratory Bird Day!
For full details and information about how to find a local circle, go to the Big Sit website at thebigsit.org!
