DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, due to the closure of Lighthouse Point in New Haven\, we are cancelling Hawk Watch and the Introduction to Lighthouse Point. We will update these notices when the Parks Department announces the reopening. \nJoin Hawk Watch Coordinator Steve Mayo for an introduction to identifying and counting the raptors that stream over and through Lighthouse Point Park during fall migration. Lighthouse Point is a premier location on the East Coast and watching the migrating raptors pass through can be thrilling. \nMeet at the Hawk Watch  parking lot\, Lighthouse Point Park\, 2 Lighthouse Rd\, New Haven. DESCRIPTION:Lighthouse Park is now open\, so Hawk Watch is underway for the season! Stop by and help with the count! \nLighthouse Point Park is a premier location in southern New England for observing migrating raptors and a wide variety of songbirds. The watch starts daily at 7 a.m. and continues as long as the hawks keep flying. Stop by anytime. We meet by the tall lone tree on top of the hill.
