Dear New Haven Bird Club Members,
The NHBC has a long and proud history, offering outstanding bird walks, engaging speakers, and vital outreach. With the growing interest in birding, our work is more important than ever.
However, as we approach our annual meeting and elections on April 10, 2025, our club faces a serious challenge: we need a new President. Chris Howe has done an incredible job, but her two-year term ends on June 30, 2025, and despite efforts to recruit a successor, no one has been identified or stepped forward.
The good news? The executive board is strong and ready to support our next leader. We have dedicated volunteers filling key roles, but we cannot function effectively without a President.
If you care about NHBC and its future, please consider stepping up. Jane Goodall said, “What you do makes a difference…” This is your chance to make a lasting impact.
