Indoor Program – Virtual Only – Birds of Columbia – Diego Calderon

Embark on a virtual tour of Colombia’s bird species with biologist and tour guide Diego Calderon. He has more than a decade of experience leading bird tours. His adventurous expeditions have taken him to remote areas, including the Pirre and Santa Marta Mountains, where he captured remarkable photographs and voice recordings of elusive birds like the Blue-bearded Helmetcrest and Santa Marta Wren. Diego’s expertise extends beyond Colombia; he has guided bird tours in several other countries and has a keen interest in digiscoping and in wild orchid photography.
