Lighthouse Point Park on New Haven Harbor is a premier location in southern New England for observing migrating raptors and a wide variety of songbirds. The watch starts daily at 7 a.m. and continues as long as the hawks keep flying. New birders are welcome; stop by anytime. The Hawk Watch meets by the tall lone tree on top of the hill. You may drive directly up to the site and the ground is relatively level. If the gate is staffed, just let them know you are there for the Hawk Watch.
