Haddam Meadows Invasive Clean up

Our first spring invasive plant cleanup will be held on Saturday, April 8, 9:00 am-12:00 noon at Haddam Meadows State Park. Rain Date is Saturday, April 22. We will remove oriental bittersweet and other invasives and pick up litter. Adults and youth under 16 years of age accompanied by an adult, are invited to participate. Meet at the boat launch. Please dress for the weather, wear waterproof boots, bring garden loppers or saw, sunscreen, bug repellent, first aid supplies, and water. Snacks will be provided. Do not bring pets. Volunteers with Haddam dump trucks and stickers are especially needed. The event is being planned by Adopt-a-Park volunteers, Cherry Czuba, and Mary Lou Heger.
