Eli Whitney Museum 915 Whitney Ave., Hamden

East Rock Park is deservedly famous for its diversity of colorful neotropical migrants in spring. Early winter brings its own avian delights to the park. We look and/or listen for ducks, hawks, woodpeckers, corvids, wrens, kinglets, thrushes, finches, and sparrows. Expected highlights are mousy Winter Wrens, kronking Common Ravens, and posturing Peregrine Falcons. Meet at the Eli Whitney Museum parking
