Become a member of the New Haven Bird Club

By joining the NHBC, you will receive our electronic newsletter which is published up to 6 times a year. In the newsletter you will learn about the variety of events that the NHBC runs and keep in touch with other news of the birding community. Additionally you will receive our Annual Yearbook which is a handy reference on the NHBC.

Membership Year

The NHBC membership year is from July 1 to June 30. New members joining between January 1 and June 30 are given full membership for the rest of the current year and also for the following membership year. You will also receive email notifications of upcoming events and any last minute changes.

To join or renew by mail, print out the membership form and send it with a check for the appropriate amount made out to the New Haven Bird Club.

Update Personal Information Online

If you are already a member, but need to update your personal information (address, phone, email etc.) so that we may be able to contact you, Click here.

Non-profit Status

The NHBC is classified as a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service. All contributions, including membership dues, are tax-deductible.

Matching Grants

If your employer gives matching grants, please take advantage of the offer. It’s free and helps NHBC’s program budget.
